Scouting is useful only when it changes the attack you intend to make. A short written brief can reveal gaps before troops are deployed.
Choose a realistic objective
Start with the outcome your clan needs and the army you can actually field. Avoid copying a spectacular attack if its key tools are unavailable to you. A practical brief should name the target, the intended entry and the part of the base that needs special attention. It should also say what remains uncertain. Scouting does not make hidden information visible, and confidence is not a substitute for a contingency.
Separate the main route from the supporting jobs
List the few tasks that must happen before the main force can work as intended. These might include shaping an entry, dealing with an exposed threat or preserving an ability for a difficult section. Describe the purpose of each action in plain language. If you cannot explain why a supporting unit is included, reconsider whether it belongs in this particular plan. More moving parts do not automatically create a stronger attack.
Share a concise brief with the clan
A useful message can fit into four lines: target, entry, critical threat and backup response. Ask for feedback on the weakest assumption rather than simply asking whether the army is good. Another player may notice a route you overlooked or explain that the chosen timing is unusually demanding. Avoid sharing account credentials or private information. Coordination should improve the plan without creating unnecessary access to anyone's account.
Check the live situation before committing
War details and targets can change between your first look and your attack. Reopen the target and check the available army, relevant abilities and current clan instructions. Use the in-game war screen as the source of truth for the remaining time and opportunities. Afterwards, compare the attack with the brief: which assumption held, and which failed first? That single lesson is more useful for your next war than a long list of everything that went wrong.
