Direct-to-consumer (D2C) health food brand Protein Pantry has raised Rs 9 crore in its seed funding round, led by Sharrp Ventures.
The fresh capital will be used to scale up the brand’s manufacturing capabilities, expand its product portfolio, and strengthen its distribution channels across both online and offline markets.
Founded by fitness and nutrition enthusiasts, Protein Pantry focuses on providing clean-label, high-protein snack alternatives and dietary supplements tailored to the modern consumer. The brand offers a variety of products, including protein-infused foods, peanut butter, and healthy snacks designed to cater to urban fitness-conscious demographics.
Sharrp Ventures, the family office investment arm of Harsh Mariwala (chairman of Marico), has been actively backing early-stage consumer brands in India. Investors noted that the D2C healthy snacking segment in India is witnessing exponential growth as lifestyle changes drive higher demand for functional and nutrition-focused foods.
